A tribally-owned center rooted in heritage, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves a path to healing.
Scotts Valley Treatment Center is owned and operated by the Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians — a federally recognized tribe with deep roots in Northern California. Our treatment center reflects the tribe's commitment to the health and wellbeing of all people, with a special dedication to serving Native American communities.
The Pomo people have long understood the importance of community, balance, and connection to the land as foundations of a healthy life. These values are woven into every aspect of our treatment approach, creating a healing environment that honors both modern clinical science and ancient Indigenous wisdom.
We believe that addiction does not discriminate — it affects people from all walks of life. Our doors are open to everyone, and we treat each client with the same dignity, respect, and compassion that we would want for our own family members.
These four principles guide every decision we make, every program we offer, and every interaction we have with clients and their families.
We honor the dignity and individuality of every person who walks through our doors. Respect for cultural heritage, personal history, and individual healing journeys is the foundation of everything we do.
We operate with honesty, transparency, and accountability in all that we do — with our clients, their families, our staff, and our community. Trust is earned through consistent, ethical action.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and take responsibility for the outcomes of our programs. Our clients deserve nothing less than our best effort, every single day.
We are committed to continuous improvement in our clinical practices, cultural programming, and facility environment. Excellence is not a destination — it is a daily commitment to doing better.
Our facility is nestled in the natural beauty of Northern California, providing a peaceful, restorative environment that supports the healing process.
Our team of dedicated professionals brings together clinical expertise, cultural knowledge, and genuine compassion. Many of our staff members are themselves in recovery, giving them a unique and powerful perspective on the healing journey.
We invest continuously in staff training, cultural competency, and evidence-based practices to ensure that every client receives the highest quality care. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
